We were invited back to help Fellow expand into the space next door. They wanted this addition to be in balance with Fellow 2.0 but to have its own flavor. Interior glass is the MVP here, allowing daylight to flow through the whole space. Angled forms and intruding blocks contrast the historic 118 year old shell.

A CREATIVE RETAIL SPACE HIGHLIGHTING LOCAL MAKERS
Long providing a showcase for local artists and makers, Terrain sought out a new space to help all that creativity reach its best audience. They found a prime location but it needed some serious help. Their wishlist for the buildout included creative merchandise displays, a non-linear layout, and- true to Terrain’s stimulating spirit- a classroom to host hands-on workshops.

With a new space in a 118 year old biscuit and candy-making building, Fellow Coworking wanted to keep the history but carry their own story into it. A business fostering local entrepreneurs, Fellow wanted a fully functioning office space that didn’t feel like an office space. An historic setting with modern forms dropped into it. The greatest challenge was to create the clean breathability of an open concept with all the acoustic & visual privacy solutions necessary for business.
